Week 2 going strong
It's rainy today and I'm waiting for hubs to get home so we can go on a run. Looks like we may be running in the rain. That's a first for me. Jogging still going well. I have been doing interval running as suggested by the book I'm using.
I will do a couple product reviews this week, on some item I purchased to assist me in my running journey.

Week 1 DONE, Week 2 here I come!
Marathon training. That's right you read that correctly. I decided to run a half marathon. A few things inspired me. My number one inspiration was Shay of the ShayTards and ShayLoss on YouTube if you don't know who he is GO find out. My second inspiration is my life. I have has less that ideal life for the past decade and I want to change that all around. Running is something I can choose to do I don't have to be picked for or choosen I chose myself. It makes me feel more confident, more worth something, important I guess.
So far it is going better than I expected. I think my body remembers how to run. I have pretty week ankles I had a bad fall during roller derby practice (only went for a month) and never recovered fully. I have also be running with my german shorthaired pointer, Daisy whenever I go on shorter/cooler runs.
Please follow my journey I am planning on updating as often as I can.
I have never been a huge runner. I did go through I health kick when I was in my 20s where I ran 4-5 miles per day and lifted weights 6 times per week.
I am currently following a 26 week program I found in the book http://books.google.com/books?id=wnIElPtEEoYC&pg=PA51&dq=marathon+training+26+weeks&hl=en&sa=X&ei=lsuWT5erLaKZiQK6tICqCg&ved=0CFYQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=marathon%20training%2026%20weeks&f=false
